Kevin Martin Mitchell is a British professional boxer based in Dagenham, Essex, England. Kevin Mitchell is regarded by many experts as one of the most exciting prospects in British boxing. In 2003 whilst still an amateur, Kevin Mitchell won the ABA featherweight championship when only of 18. After considering offers from various promoters, Mitchell decided to sign professional forms with Frank Warren's Sports Network.
Mitchell fought Amir Khan's conquerer Breidis Prescott, on the Khan vs Salita undercard on 5 December 2009 in Newcastle, winning by unanimous decision and producing a performance that many didn't believe him capable of. Kevin fought at Wembley Arena just two months later, impressively knocking out Ignacio Mendoza in two rounds appearing to be a tune up fight.
